SALT was engaged to conduct a waste infrastructure capacity assessment at the AFL Grand Final Parade in 2019. Our team developed a methodology to conduct a visual assessment of bins given the limitation of time and resources to conduct a detailed bin audit. Our waste engineers were present throughout the event to monitor the capacity of all bin stations and assess the sufficiency of bin provision. Upon completion of the event, SALT provided a post-event report which comprised of a waste analysis and recommendations.
