SALT was engaged in 2018 to provide a range of traffic and parking related improvements throughout the Salesian College campus. The goal of the development was to improve the overall safety of students, staff and visitors.
Three stages were completed relating to:

Stage 1: The bus zone and pick-up/drop-off areas
This stage involved the construction of a new bus pick-up and drop off area adjacent to an existing multipurpose hall. This would be accompanied by a ‘kiss and go’ area for parents to facilitate safe and efficient pick-up and drop-off movements. Initial layouts were reviewed to address safety concerns and provide missing pedestrian links.

Stage 2: The staff car park
This stage involved the upgrade of an existing car park area with the goal of enhancing safety and efficiency, and increasing capacity. The improved layout of the car park was provided in a concept design.

Stage 3: The campus entrance
Consultation was provided with regards to the pedestrian access arrangements at the entrances and exits of the campus. This involved potential inclusion of a new pedestrian crossing and walkway.
