Jo has over 22 years industry experience with diverse project skills ranging in scale, type, budget and complexity. Her traffic, transport, waste and environmental engineering expertise extends across Australia including master planning, feasibility studies, integrated transport planning, design, carpark management, waste strategy & planning, environmental consulting and project delivery. Jo regularly appears as an expert witness and is active in the professional & sustainable development of the industry, including memberships with AITPM, WMRR and delivering sessional tertiary education. Jo is a senior road safety auditor and has high level skills integrating transport, sustainability, waste and environment. She enjoys working with both public and private sectors and is passionate about facilitating positive outcomes for clients and the environment.
JARROD WICKS

Jarrod’s career spans over 15 years in the field of traffic engineering and transport planning. His skillset is diverse, extending from traffic impact assessments for small- and large-scale developments through to construction traffic management planning, traffic modelling, road safety audits, local area traffic management investigations and peer review. He has a passion for the built environment and for sustainable, long-lasting outcomes that improve the public realm. Jarrod’s ability to appreciate the ‘big picture’ is complemented by his strong level of technical expertise and deep understanding of town planning and statutory processes. Jarrod not only takes great pride in delivering projects successfully, but also in making sure that every project is delivered with quality, value, and creativity in mind. His long-lasting client relationships within both the public and private sector are testament to his ability to deliver positive results.

Leading our design team, Chris has over 18 years’ of professional experience providing quality traffic, transport, and parking design solutions. He is passionate about his work, evident by his positive outlook, attention to detail and can-do attitude Managing a team and working within our team environment is one of the most rewarding aspects of Chris’ work. He particularly enjoys building and maintaining relationships with colleagues and clients, some over many years, while delivering considered and effective solutions on-time and within budget. His project experience is wide ranging including design for aviation, bicycles, highways, public transport, parking, road safety audit and all manner of developments, both private and public. As well as drawing upon his significant project experience, Chris consistently achieves solid understanding of client and project requirements, taking into consideration industry, state and national standards.
TOM BLOOMFIELD
Associate Director - Waste Management MSc Env. Eng. (Imperial College, UK) ,BSc Env. Geoscience (Bristol, UK)
Tom is SALT’s Waste Leader with over 15 years’ experience in waste management, environmental management and sustainability projects across both public and private sectors. Tom’s experience includes waste strategy and policy, waste audit and composition analysis, waste infrastructure design and approvals projects, technology reviews and feasibility studies, equipment selection and procurement, environmental compliance monitoring and risk assessment, as well as environmental and sustainability advisory roles on a range of infrastructure projects spanning transport, water and waste. Tom spent several years in local government where he developed a strong understanding of council waste management processes, requirements and challenges. He enjoys assisting clients with the many challenges and opportunities experienced in the waste sector.
ARVEEN PRASAD
Finance Manager
Arveen joined SALT as the Finance Manager earlier this year. He has over 15 years experience in the field of accounting and finance. He is a results-driven Finance Manager with experience in successfully managing finance teams, monitoring all company financial operations, conducting cash flow forecasts and financial strategies, and generating reports and analysis.
CARLA BRADLEY
Traffic & Transport Leader (NSW) BE (Civil) (Hons) DipProfEngPrac (UTS)
Carla has over 9 years experience in transport engineering, road safety, design and project management across both the public and private sectors. She is known for her attention to detail and problem-solving skills, which are complimented with strong collaboration and communication skills. Carla enjoys finding practical solutions to problems that meet industry, state and national standards but also facilitate the best outcome for clients. Carla is an accredited Level 3 Lead Road Safety Auditor on the NSW Register of Road Safety Auditors and also a Safe Systems Assessor. With a clear passion for road safety she incorporates safe systems principles in all her projects to drive the number of deaths and serious injuries on our roads Towards Zero. Planning and designing for pedestrians, cyclists, cars, trucks and all modes of transport are at the forefront.
Matthew Duffy
Associate B. Eng. Civil (RMIT) M. Traffic (Monash)
Matthew is a Traffic Engineer with over 10 years consulting experience, having started in the industry in 2010 whilst completing his post-graduate studies at Monash University. Since that time, Matthew has been involved in numerous projects of varying scale and size, for a range of clients across both the public and private sectors throughout Australia. Matthew is often involved throughout the entire life cycle of new development projects, from feasibility through to delivery, which has gained him exposure to Clients, Architects, Authorities and Project Managers alike. He is also involved in the preparation of expert evidence statements for VCAT and has provided peer review assessments of town planning applications to various Councils, furthering his understanding of Council expectations whilst appreciating practical design solutions.
Tony Togany
Associate
Tony has over 12 years of experience in Traffic and Transport Planning and joined SALT in 2022 after working with some of Melbourne’s largest traffic engineering companies/firms. Tony has extensive knowledge of traffic and transport planning to assist in projects for both the private and public sectors. He is typically involved throughout the entire lift cycle of development projects and prides himself in providing sound traffic engineering advice and delivering project to a high quality with efficiency and on budget. With a focus on Traffic Impact Assessments for Development Proposals, Tony has a strong eye for detail in the undertaking of detailed traffic and parking impact analysis for a range of project types. Tony is also experienced in the preparation and presentation of expert evidence at VCAT.
IAN BISHOP
Associate MEng (Hons) Civil (Heriot-Watt University), MIEAust
Ian has over 15 years’ experience in civil, traffic & road safety engineering and has gained diverse transport experience through the planning, design, and implementation of numerous road safety and transportation projects. His project experience spans many sectors including local and state government, private development, land division, health, education, energy and mining. He is a DIT & VicRoads accredited Senior Road Safety Auditor, Restricted Access Vehicle Route Assessor and Safe Systems Assessor and has over 11 years’ experience specialising in road safety. He has conducted road safety assessments for over 15,000km of Australia’s regional state and local road network, providing deep insight into many issues and challenges faced on the rural road network. He is actively involved within the industry and currently represents Engineers Australia on Australian Standards Committee MS-012.
EGAN COOK
Senior Traffic Designer Adv. Diploma Engineering Design (Civil)
Egan has been working as a traffic designer since 2016 and since then has been developing his MicroStation skills while expanding his knowledge of traffic design. He has been exposed to a diverse range of projects from small developments to major government funded projects that have included tasks such as: concept and functional layout plans of various sizes, traffic signal plans, sign face design, carpark design, and turn lane treatments. As well as traffic management plans and construction staging plans. Egan’s involvement throughout these projects has included undertaking site inspections, survey and data collection, design and drafting, as well as providing technical advice in relation to the design of the project.

Jasreena joined the SALT team in 2018 and have since developed strong project management, team leadership and technical skills which have helped yield exceptional project outcomes. She is experienced in developing waste management guidelines, waste management plans, feasibility studies as well as in advising clients on best practice and accessible waste management requirements. Her science background is often appreciated as it is well demonstrated in her strong analytical and research skills. Jasreena is recognised within the industry for her exemplary work ethic, professionalism, commitment towards learning and taking action. Jasreena aims to develop accessible and sustainable environmental solutions which benefits both the community and the environment.
MAHSA AMIN
ESD Consultant
Mahsa joined SALT in 2023 bringing close to a decade of experience in ESD, building sustainability, and energy efficiency. Mahsa is Accredited Green Star Professional (GSAP) with Green Star Buildings and has prior experience in Green Star rating and Green Star energy modelling. She has gained an extensive understanding of local government ESD guidelines and requirements having worked on SDA and SMP reports for a wide range of developments. Her experience includes building thermal modelling, services modelling, and writing NCC performance solutions for complex and challenging projects. With a background in mechanical services engineering, Mahsa has been able to assist project teams by proposing low-cost and efficient services to compensate for expensive building fabric and glazing upgrades and saves thousands of dollars for a range of government and private clients.
LEWIS COLLINS
Project Traffic Engineer B. Eng. Civil (Hons) (Swinburne)
Lewis has recently completed a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) at Swinburne University. While finishing his degree, Lewis spent two years working with SALT as an undergraduate engineer. In this time, he has had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from small scale residential developments to larger scale retail developments. Through this, Lewis has developed strong traffic engineering skills including traffic impact assessments, design, swept path assessment, data analysis and intersection modelling.
CLAUDIA GOODLIFFE
Traffic Engineer B. Eng. Civil (Hons) (Monash)
Claudia has completed a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) at Monash University. She joined the SALT team as a work experience student during her final year of university as has continued on as a graduate traffic engineer in 2021. Claudia is a passionate engineer with a strong work ethic and desire to learn. Under the guidance of the senior team, Claudia strives to provide high quality technical analyses and reporting for various project types.
ZACH SEYMOUR
Undergraduate Traffic Engineer
Zach is nearing the completion of his full-time double degree at Monash University (B. Eng. Civil (Hons) & B. Comm (Finance)). He has been working at SALT during his studies since late 2022. During this time, he has been guided by the senior team and assisted on a variety of projects. Zach’s involvement has included undertaking literature review, attending site inspections and project meetings, survey data collection and analysis, and the provision of design advice to assist with development applications.

Michelle has over 30 years experience in accounts management and has been part of the SALT team since 2014. With her vast knowledge and experience across several industries, including engineering and professional services, Michelle enjoys building on her client relationships and also working with SALT’s engineers and scientists.
