SALT was engaged in 2016 by Forensicare to provide traffic engineering services for Thomas Embling Hospital Masterplan, working with the project team to provide seamless traffic engineering solutions. Works included; a review of parking and traffic impacts of the proposed masterplan options on the surrounding street network; design input to assist with the development of the preferred option; preparation of vehicle swept path diagrams and design comments to ensure suitable vehicle access is provided; preparation of concept car park layout design to maximise parking provision for existing conditions, review of car parking provision requirements for various master plan scenarios including feasibility of relocating the existing site.
