SALT was engaged by The Retail Group in 2018 to provide traffic engineering advice aiding in the installation of shade sails over the existing car park. To facilitate this installation, some parking spaces needed to be removed to ensure sufficient vehicular circulation was maintained.

To justify the change in car parking spaces, car parking occupancy/utilisation surveys were commissioned and analysed. Ultimately, the shade sales were successfully installed and car parking circulation maintained.
