SALT has been since 2017 to provide waste engineering services for the development that will provide over 400 residential apartments. More than 21,000m2 of commercial and community spaces will also be delivered, including supermarket, retail, medical spaces, offices, child care centre and food and beverage offerings.

SALT had the opportunity to advise on strategy waste initiatives and design options for the large scale development site. The final design catered for a combination of bin and compactor collections with multiple collection points to minimise the need for manual bin transfer and prevent occupational health and safety risks on building management, users and the general public.

SALT delivered a comprehensive Waste Management Plan for all components of the development that was granted approval by Yarra City Council.
