Project Status:

This multi-story residential development in a prominent location in Ringwood saw us design 4 levels of basement car parking and 3 ground floor tenancies. The routine difficulty of needing to accommodate for more parking on site than we have space for was overshadowed by an unusual challenge, working around established trees.

DKO were the client which was very enjoyable, they were always very responsive and happy to work with our Engineering requirements to create mutually beneficial outcomes. We worked with the Structural Engineer and Service Engineer to accommodate the Arborists’ requirements and left us feeling satisfied having learnt something new.

Our car parking demand assessment, access ways and aisles were all in accordance with the Planning Scheme and Australian Standards. The proposed bicycle parking exceeded the requirements of Clause 5234 of the Maroondah Planning Scheme.
