SALT were engaged to prepare a Waste Management Plan for a residential development which consisting of apartments, townhouses and villas. We provided advice regarding waste provisions, collection arrangements, waste assessment and liaison with Council. The plan proposed local collection for the entire development. The challenge that SALT team faced was not having sufficient area for apartment waste collection, therefore our team at SALT liaised with the relevant Council and as a result waste collection vehicle would undertake outside peak hour to minimise impact on local traffic.
