FrankstonCar Parking Study
Client:
Frankston City Council
Project Status:
Completed
In 2016 SALT conducted a car parking design study in the Frankston Metropolitan Activity Centre (FMAC).
We analysed changes that have occurred since the Frankston CAD Parking Study (2010) and Frankston Central Activities Area Parking Overlay Study Draft Report (2014), providing new data on parking provision and occupancy.
We commissioned on-street, off-street and duration of stay surveys to analyse the number of cars overstaying in high demand parking areas. Our recommendations will help the City of Frankston manage high volume and underutilised areas.
Our findings drive sustainable transport policies and economic prosperity for local residents and businesses in Frankston.
