SALT’s waste engineering team was engaged by Allaf Property Management in 2021 to prepare a Waste Management Plan for the proposed child care centre located within Bayswater City Council. The child care centre will provide approximately 363m² of indoor child care spaces.

Our waste team worked closely with the project team to resolve the interdisciplinary challenges, including addressing on-site waste collection vehicle access. The team circumvented the issue by proposing modifications to the traffic median which then allowed for safer traffic movements along Peninsula Road and safe access for the waste collection vehicle.

SALT delivered a Waste Management Plan which identified any potential risks during waste collections and storage to minimise any occupational health and safety risks and also to comply with Western Australia’s waste guidelines.
