In 2017, the Traffic and Waste disciplines at SALT were engaged by ClarkeHopkinsClarke Architects and the Oreana Group. Our role was to assist in the design of the residential development and the Town Centre in line with the Council’s Precinct Structure Plan.

The challenge was to resolve intersection design given increased traffic generation and provide strategic waste collection routes including common collection points throughout the town centre development site.

Our recommendations will improve the manoeuvrability of the Alira community and it’s effectiveness and efficiency.
