SALT was engaged by Melton City Council to conduct a waste audit and waste management plan at the Caroline Spring Leisure Centre.

SALT completed a site visit which included confirming the bin types and locations present on site, observing the presence of litter, conducting a bin audit to determine waste volumes, contamination rates and increased opportunities for landfill diversion.

Following the analysis of the data obtained from the site visit and audit, SALT provided Melton City Council with a range of solutions to more effectively manage waste onsite, including providing better provisions to increase recycling and reduce contamination rates.
