Since 2023 SALT has been involved in the Numurkah solar farm located within Moira Shire, Victoria. The solar farm has the capability of generating 10,500 MWh of renewable electricity a year.

SALT was engaged for a traffic engineering assessment and preparation of traffic management plan which sought to eliminate, reduce or mitigate road safety hazards and traffic impacts arising from the construction and operation of the facility. The traffic management plan considered the scheduling of construction works and suggested appropriate routes for construction vehicles to site. Our team assessed heavy vehicle movements at the site access points and assessed the impact of construction traffic on local school bus routes.

Our involvement also included the preparation of a construction operational traffic management plan that was submitted to Moira Shire Council and DTP to enable development works to progress.
