SALT was engaged by fjmt studios over two stages in 2019 and 2021 to undertake detailed traffic engineering analysis and provide high level design and planning advice to assist with the development of Peninsula Grammar school.

Across the two stages detailed advice on pedestrian and vehicle movements with regards to proposed developments on school grounds were reviewed and optimised. Furthermore, traffic flows onto and off of the surrounding road network were assessed to improve functionality and safety under school operation.

During the assessment, SIDRA software was used to estimate future traffic volumes and assess the traffic and safety implications of alternative intersection designs. The above ensured the school could be accessed both safely and efficiently under current and future traffic conditions.
